Empty shops in Haverfordwest

Last summer we were approached by Haverfordwest Chamber of Commerce to look at ways of trying to address the problem of unsightly looking empty shops around the town centre. After many months of planning, the scheme finally kicked off at the end of March 2011 with the installation of 5 shop fronts around town.

The scheme has proved to be a big success with support and approval coming from other businesses and passersby alike. Crucially the scheme has attracted more interest in the empty units and has helped to promote the proactive steps being taken by the Chamber to address difficult trading conditions in the area.
